Meet the folks who make it all happen. The mission of Invictus Gymnastics is to develop well-rounded athletes by providing a safe and neutral environment that encourages skill development, goal achievement, and high-quality gymnastics training opportunities. Our coaches prepare students with the techniques, skills, discipline, and conditioning needed to compete their best in all levels of this sport.
Chris and Kara Caicedo, Founders
Chris and Kara are both WSU alum (Go Cougs!) and graduated from Kamiakin High School in 2003. Chris has a career working in law enforcement while Kara has spent her career in education and training. They have two very active daughters and a Frenchie named "Butch".
Chris and Kara decided to open Invictus Gymnastics to provide competitive and recreational gymnasts in the region with an option to train in an environment that believes the physical, social, and mental health of the gymnast is essential to their success as an athlete and human.
Chris and Kara believe all gymnasts in Eastern Washington deserve a safe, neutral, gymnastics facility where they can receive the support and training to compete at their highest potential in this sport.
Coach Trishelle's experience with gymnastics began at the age of 5. She competed as a compulsory and optional gymnast in USAG Women's DP until she retired from the sport at the end of her Level 8 season when she was 15.
Since retiring, Coach Trishelle has remained engaged in the gymnastics by coaching young athletes to love the sport, while also building confidence and skills.
In her free time, Coach Trishelle enjoys working on puzzles, baking, traveling, and spending time with her dog!
